Chronicles addiction?

I was sent out on an errand this morning that called for a stop at Target.  After picking up the required items I stopped by the card section.  First, I picked up an Allen & Ginter multi-pack for Owen's collection:

Then I picked up some more Chronicles:

Two more fat packs (15 cards @ $4.99) and a hanger box (30 cards @ $9.99).
17 vet base additions to kick things off:

8 Panini rookies:

My first MB3.
8 Luminance rookies:

How about that?  Another MB3.
7 Playoff rookies:

The day's third MB3, and a Luka!
3 Elements rookies:

A pair of Marquee rookies:

A fourth MB3 and a JJJ.  Pretty solid.
A single Studio:

A pair of Optichrome:

A single Crusade:

A single Obsidian:

My first Obsidian!  And it's a Trae no less!  Pretty sharp looking subset.
And the base cards conclude with three Classics:

On to parallels.  Bronze parallels from the fat packs include:

And the hanger box includes three Green parallels:

The opening concludes with a LeVert base for the Michigan collection:

All-in-all, yet another successful Chronicles purchase.  60 cards for $20 ($0.33 / card) and none are duplicates of cards I already have.  The cool pull is the Trae Obsidian, but I also managed to pull another Luka, a JJJ, four MB3's, a Sexton, and a Bamba.  This might be Panini's strongest retail basketball product as I feel I am consistently pulling strong cards from an array of subsets.  Of course, having about eight different cards for each rookie makes it easier to pull a key rookie.

  1. I can see why you'd be addicted to Chronicles; so many different mini-sets and rookies makes it one of the better basketball products out there, especially at that price.
